Electric Town
Japan is famous for its electronics, everybody knows that. But what some foreigners might not be aware is there is really such a place called 'Electric Town' in Akihabara, Tokyo (around 10 minutes from Shinjuku if you use Sobu express).
Here you can find all the latest models of TVs, DVDs, PCs, Components, MP3 Players, iPODs, Laptops, appliances, anything, you'll find it here.
You'll also find lots of second-hand stores that sells almost the same quality as brand new. There are famous duty free shops such as Laox. Many pretty watches that would really make you wanna hoard them all!
I just tagged along Marvin, Johnny and Agdie here. Only a few weeks more and Marvin and Johnny are going back home so they'd scout for something to buy and serve as remembrance of their first-time visit of Tokyo. I almost bought a cutie nike watch, a limited U2 iPod (with U2's sign at the back) and I was really fixated at the home theater TVs! But good thing, I don't have money!~ ^o^
It's nice to go around looking for good stuffs in Akihabara, although one should be prepared for really long, tiring walks and be prepared to hussle with the crowd whose as persistent, as patient and as bent on combing all the streets of Akihabara just to get that 'best buy'.

It's snowing heavily on a Friday March morning!!!
I was awaken by the weather news, "it's snowing heavily in Tokyo, the heaviest so far this year!" still in my pajamas, I stepped out at my balcony and there it was, yes, it's indeed snowing!!! Grrrr~~~ it's so cold. This year's weather has really been crazy. Last week we already reached around 12 degrees, and all of a sudden, it went down to 5 degrees again!
A view from outside my door, thick heavy snow..unusual in Tokyo...isn't it supposed to be start of spring already???? I chatted with some friends in Manila and they were so excited and said 'wow, you should take pictures!'. I went 'it's freezing cold outside and the wind is too strong, I might catch a cold.' I didn't really want to walk on the slippery streets. I'm always afraid to walk on snowy grounds. Then a friend of mine said 'I've never seen snow in my life yet...' Oh, sometimes I'm so naive!

Thoughts From A Really Sleepy Mind...
I've been really really sleepy today hehehe. Just chatted with friends and had a rare countdown moment to 7PM so I could go home and sleep. Today's forecast is snow in the evening and I hate it especially if it's already March. Winter's supposed to end already. But I guess even the weather has been unpredictable lately. I'm tired of wearing trench coats, I've gotten bored over my hairstyle and I'm dying to change it real soon!
On the brighter side, I saw Sakurai-san's wacky pics and had a good laugh!

Genki Jyanai No Watashi
I've been doing a lot of soul-searching lately. No matter how hard I try to focus on the things that have more importance right now, or on those that really matters most, I just can't seem to get my acts together. Sometimes I ask myself, is this because of the cold winter season? Or because I'm in that dreaded phase of a young woman's life already? Is this hormonal?? Or is it plainly because I can't get a hold of my own life. Yes!~ strange isn't it? I manage projects. I manage people. I manage a business. I'm great at all. And yet, I can't get a hold of my own life. How pathetic...
This has cost me sleepless nights. I often find myself wondering what tomorrow really holds for me. Right now, my career and my life are on hold. Everything is suspended. And I feel so lost.
Sometimes I try to motivate myself saying out loud 'you are a great person!'. To make it even better, I posted a big 'Good Morning Beautiful!' poster in my cube. I may have read a thousand inspirational stories. Tried to sing 'Sukiyaki' over and over again in my head. Watched funny japanese 'anime'. But nothing can make me feel better. No, not even Smap's Shingo!
I hate to admit it but I am in a slump....

- Michelle Branch' Breathe. If someone drives you crazy, just breathe and sing with Michelle Branch.
- Simple Plan's Perfect. Hope all Dads and Moms in the world just really listen to this song. I hope all boyfriends too.
- Puddle Of Mudd's Blurry. I'm really moved by Puddle of Mudd's MTV on Blurry and I heard they are really father and son in real life. The lyrics imply losing a special someone but MTV shows a father's pain of losing a son to the mother in divorce.
- Christina Aguillera's Beautiful. I don't like many of her songs but the lyrics of Beautiful captures so many emotions and countless ways that we are beautiful. Again, stand tall, walk tall sistahs!
- Avril Lavigne's Don't Tell Me. Listening to Avril feels like I'm 10 years younger hahahaha. Go girl and be a smartie teener!
- Pink's Get This Party Started. Not really a newbie but still clicks and tickles the toes to get any party started!
- Ryan Cabrera's On The Way Down. I just love Ryan's songs - twist of ballad and accoustic. Though I hope his lyrics could be improved to have more depth.
- Destiny's Child's Soldier. Destiny's Child is back again!
