Joggling Between Work & Study
Barely a week on my study and I feel so exhausted!
Too tough to find quality time to read reference materials when I finish work at around 12mn.
I have to learn better time management or else...
Things I've learned so far in my MB500 subject Foundation of Problem-based Learning:

Things I've learned so far in my MB500 subject Foundation of Problem-based Learning:
- Communication & Interpersonal skills are foundation to other core management skills.
- Never start a sentence with 'But', use 'However or 'On the other hand' instead.
- Never use 'but' for it ellicits a defensive feedback.
Tonight, I'll treat myself a soothing body massage. The week's been pretty toxic.

Express yourself thru music...
My recent theme song...
"What'll She Look Like" by Stephen Speaks
What'll she look like when she opens her eyes
and sees what she wnats to see
instead of this cold mirror's lies
and all the pieces complete
she says with a sign"I think I'm ready..."
what'll she sound like when she opens her mouth
and all the phrases sound rightas they fall out
and she says "yes" and she's notscared of the sound
she says she's ready
will she be soft will she be strong
will she be ready to be wrong
will she move too fast or wait too long
will she look me in the eyes
what'll it feel like when she opens her heart
and finds that there just might be a small missing part
and whether with or without me
she has to start getting ready
what'll she look like when she opens here eyes
will she see just what I see
will it be a surprise
to see that she hasn't changed, her eyes are just a little wider now
and she's getting ready

Back to the badminton courts...
No injury could stop Emzi from doing the things she loves to do, that's for sure. People say I am 'yarisugi'. I overdo things. Maybe I am. But I am a woman of passion and dedication. Thus, even though I'm still fresh from my snowboard injury last weekend, I managed to come to a badminton club I recently joined and viola~ I was able to lob some, push some, smash some and drop some shuttle cocks. My tailbone still hurts so I wasn't able to dig deeply and get those drops. But for someone who's not done badminton in a while, I guess I still have the hands hahaha!
I met a 15-year old girl who's so nice to me. We've chatted about many things. And then she asked me how old I was. Funny because for the first time, I was proud that I'm 29 and I'll be turning 30 this year. I also met a couple of high-school looking guys, who turned out to be 23 and 25 respectively.
The club meets every Saturday and Sunday and I hope to join them as often as my schedule permits.
Aside from badminton I discovered a public pool just beside the courts which I can use in case I wanna start doing some laps. Hmm..sounds good!
Thanks for visiting!
