Big Ben and the Houses Of Parliament are spectacular at night. Jen's suggestion was perfect. The Westminster area is really a sight for sore eyes at night.

Day's Low
We arrived at London at eight past thirty and therefore I failed to see the interiors of the Westminster Abby, where Kings and Queens are crowned.
Night Life & Club 100

London is is one of those cities with gay (I meant lively, ok ;) nightlife.

You'll see live performances everywhere from rock, punk, electric, name it they got it. Pubs like Club 100 are everywhere. They charge you with a small amount of Pounds and beers come rather cheap at the bar.

I probably shouldn't comment on the weird outfits (because they get even weirder from where I come hahhaa!).

This was between Picadilly and Regent Sts. I think...

I took the picture in the hope of catching London's air and taste.

How did I do?

Nobody might believe it but this was London's famous Oxford Street.

Failed to do window-shopping, we were distracted by the buildings baroque architecture.

It was as if I was in The Hamlet movie as I gazed and listened to the stories of these guys who actually live inside the towers of london.

There was apparently 100 people living inside the tower. They are those who provide guided tours and entertainment such as this.

Inside The Towers Of London

I got off the Tower Hill (Underground) station and I found the Tower Of London. It was by mere struck of chance because I actually didn't have any intention of going here. But I was here and I figured, what the heck, let me give it a try.

The interiors of the towers or should I say palace was so huge. The walls are so thick. One would think that this place is a luxury for previous royalties but after hearing the conspiracies, deaths, treachery that happened within these very walls during the guided tour, I couldn't help but think...no wealth, no walls, no statute could really save you. And that my friends, I think, is why there is such a word as 'faith'.

I've seen the crowned jewels and a part of me wished I've lived in those medieval times. I could have witnessed the glamour of royal life and the humbling truths of being a peasant..On second thought, I could have been a thousand other things, hahahha.

Ok, ok. Enough day dreaming~

This is the famous London bridge. Solid. Spectacular.

I actually crossed (with my two sore feet) the bridge. It was cold, the wind was gutsy but it felt wonderful. The view would have looked even better if I had fresh legs and thicker clothes hehehe.

I didn't pay 5.50 pounds to get up the tower..Oh well maybe next time.

The Wellington Arch

I had the most difficult time finding this one. My feet was sore, I had jetlag and I was so sleepy but I didnt give up to find this one. We passed by this monument yesterday but somehow I always ended getting lost. And then finally, I found it.

A couple of travel tips I'm proud to share.

Instead of the usual hop in hop off, it is cheaper to get the bus' all day pass because it gets you everywhere as long as you have a city map. I saved an awful lot of Pounds today having spent only 3.50 and I can use it until 4.30pm the following day.

If there's public transportation in the airport, take it. Dont rely too much on a cab to get you to your destination. The cab driver took me on a round trip (I realized now) and had me pay 65 pounds?!

The Houses Of Parliament

I went to Tobu square during the Golden Week and got myself a picture of the miniature Houses Of Parliament.

Well, today I took a picture of the real thing?! It is so amazing, what a pity it was closed to the public today. Who would have thought I'd actually step outside the gates of this palace. God truly gives a miracle.

I Was At Buckingham Palace

My first London trip would be highlighted by the spectacles of the ceremonies at Buckingham. During summer and spring the changing of the guards happen once every hour. Their uniform are so cute, not to mention these guards are really really cute. They ride such big horses. The Queen indeed is a very lucky woman.
But as I stood there amidst the massive crowd that gather, I also thought that it must be very tough to lead a royalty life. Yes, they are wealthy and powerful but how lonely it is to be emprisoned inside the palace doors without freedom to do whatever they want or go where ever they go.
