Beauty & Relaxation Day

I slept until 11am today as a reward for a very tiring week.
I went to have hair treatment today at Moissant, a famous French salon in Takashima Time Square (located at 12/F just beside the Theatre). The massage was heavenly.
Sank myself deep in honey milk hot bath and enjoyed the gorgeous steam coming out of my bathtub.
I've used Lancome's Resurface Peel and I feel it has made a slight difference for my face. I'll afterwards do my nail. Must admit that living abroad has made me more independent and vain.
Sip of Peach Wine while watching Pirates Of The Carribean is truly a relaxing Saturday for a hardworking girl. I plan to oversleep again tonight.
PS: I dropped by the office today to get my spa member's ID. When I opened the door I was surprised to see HB standing to greet me. He was looking at me but I shrugged it off and proceeded as if I didn't see him. I then proceeded to the spa for the treatment. I returned to the office to get some MBA books. He was still there but I ignored him. On my way home, we passed by each other. He was looking at me again and I once again ignored him. My heart breaks over again.

What's up with me?

Busy is an understatement in my life of late. Shuffling work and master's education is definitely not an easy feat to do. I've surprised myself by finishing my class, Foundations Of Problem-Based Learning, in flying colors last Tuesday. The past 6 weeks was so tough and my greatest learning was time discipline. I didn't want to compromise my winter sports and job responsibilities but I also wanted to really learn from this class. 1 Down, 11 more to go!

I then plunged into the next class, Forces Influencing Business In The 21st Century. This class will be more challenging as it focuses on Micro and Macro Eco, subject areas I'm not good at. The blessing though is it coincides with Golden Week (1 week Japanese holiday). I can do advance readings and assignments.

At work, there was a recent reorganization and with that my report line and role have changed. I'm now closer to the business, which is a good thing as it offers new opportunities to learn and grow. I also like organizing so when I'm given this messy situation to define and implement new processes and guidelines I couldn't be happier.

I've also been busy with touring my friends and showing them the good places in Tokyo. The past two weeks I've played host to visiting friends and officemates on biz trips here in our JP BU.

My home is suffering the most as I couldn't find time to really do housekeeping. I'll definitely put this one in my list this week, which reminds me that I also need to pay my bills this weekend.

I also need to bring my snowboard to maintenance, which I will also need to do this week before I put it in storage. Later today I plan to go and have a relaxing massage and facial. I know I deserve it!

There have been no time for movies and DVDs this year, but I guess I can save them for lonelier days. Although I'm so tempted to buy Ice Age 2. May is also Da Vinci Code month and I plan go watch that in theatre with friends.

Speaking of friends, I need to organize three things:
  1. Kozue's farewell party. She'll be taking her Master's in the US starting this Sept. I need to plan her farewell party and I also need to plan my schedule so I can go with her in Sri Lanka.
  2. Barbecue Party for Yuriko's birthday. This is supposed to happen at my home and I need to re-arrange my house first so they'd all fit!
  3. Take Lanye and Agdie to Nakano for shopping and have movie marathon at my place.

Spring has brought new life, new energy, new things to pursue and new work for me. I can't say my life is perfect but I think I'm getting there.

I Finally Got It!

Finally I snapped out of it! Why should I pour my heart out over someone who obviously doesn't deserve me? Why should I spent restless nights wondering where I did wrong and what my faults are??
It simply is not worth it. I am so much more than that. Now I understand how liberating Elle Woods must have felt when she finally realized that her boyfriend Warner was such as a dumbass.
Feels great to break out again.

Bev has a new Papa but she'll spend the holy week with James' family! Not so weird Bev!

Marla is already one year on her housing loan and she's currently renting the house to pay for the monthly amortization. Our baby's maturing?!

My PH visit last week included lunch date with the RCBC Berks. I'm sandwiched by two berks. Heard Jonie's been working out really hard and Sammy's busy with his work as an artist.

Great stuff! Great news! Great seeing friends again.
