Roses in bloom

A bit of an unexpected surprise that is life...I bought these roses last Monday when they were still budding up, but I never expected them to be this beautiful in full bloom! I never bothered to check them out every morning and when I went home today, something made me look the vase' way and there it was, gorgeous red roses! Enough to make me say Thank God Its Friday!

Met HB at the elevator. Told him about the phone call. We chatter for a while. He took off at the lobby. He held the elevator door open and he looked at me.
I said 'what?'
He said 'B1 is closed'.
I said 'why?'
He said 'coz it's past 10pm.'
I said, 'so they changed the rule?'[before it was 12.30am]
He said, 'yeah, didn't you read the notice?'
I said, 'oh I never bother to look up the signs. It's a good thing I was with you tonight.'
He curiously asked, 'why?'
I said, 'I didn't look dumb!'
He said, 'I see.' For a moment I thought of asking about the Christmas gift but instead I waved my hands, uttered goodbye and walked away. For once, let him be.

1. I'm free this week. My calendar this week's been pretty free. No red markings except for daily lunchdatee. Major dilemma! I feel so dispensable as if I am not worth anything to the world! Tsk tsk tsk, not good not good.
2. iPod Nano, sold out since Day 1. Major disaster. I so badly want to own one. It took me a month to finally decide to buy but unfortunately it's 'urikiri' (sold out!).

On the other hand, I figured I have time to

1. Catch up on my eCampus. On the side it's time to learn Japanese once more! hahaha...
2. Time for some funnily tear-jerking TV dramas :) [Yeah, I figured it is grammatically correct to use 'funnily' synanimously to humurously, amusingly, comically, absurdly!]
3. Bond with officemates over luncheons!
4. ZZZZzzzzz ~~~~

Here comes Christmas

I started decorating my little sanctuary to give it Christmas flavor. I bought this 10 Santas to up my chance of getting my christmas wish this year.

I'm being a little selfish because I've had so much blessings already this year, all year-round in fact. But who knows, they say that if you keep on wishing, and if you wish hard enough and you be a good girl then you just might get what you want for Christmas (from the movie Love Affair, 1939 version)

Last year I received a different kind of Christmas gift but I blew it. This year, I wish for the gift of a second chance.

For my brothers, I wish for them continued zest in their univ degree pursuit. For my sisters, good and happy life with their loved ones. For my parents, strength and rekindled love for each other. For my friends, good health, more love, success and happiness of course. For my lonely friends, I wish for them the gift of laughter and appreciation. I wish that the world is a little bit friendlier, that more people would smile to each other and that we all realize that it is always better to look at the good side of people and that happiness and hope can be found in the faces of little children.

Ahh, I have so many wishes for Christmas ~ which means that I should be a really really good girl! :)
