My 29th Personal Goals
Last night, I had an interesting co-passenger at the subway. He was about mid-40s and I didn't think there's something different from him. My mind was pondering over my recent depressions when all of a sudden, the man shouted 'stop that!'. Nobody reacted until stood up, approached a lady who was texting and shoved her arms while saying 'stop that! can't you read the sign DONT USE CELLPHONE INSIDE THE TRAIN?'. The lady just shrugged and stopped texting. That scene stirred excitement but after a few shakes we were off to our own worlds again. It was the next station stop, there were few passengers who got off and in the train. The man started shouting again for he saw another lady texting. 'This is a 35-year rule and you still don't know? Stop using the cellphone'. As usual, the lady stopped. The train stopped to my station and I got off. It got me thinking there, is this man having a crusade against subway rules violators? Is it really important to him to verbally reprimand each and every person he sees? Or is just a pissed-off middle-aged man who lets out his anger to the world. But does it help? I can't judge a person I've never even gotten contact with but the thing is, these are guidelines in consideration of others. What if it was absolutely necessary for those people to contact whoever? And besides they weren't really disturbing people because they were in silent mode. I don't know, some people just really love misery for company...

In one of the leadership workshops I attended a speaker said '
if you have a goal, write it where you can read it and come back reading and
reading until it becomes instinctively part of your bloodstream. You have to breathe your dreams so that everything you do becomes a step closer to their realization. Don't be ashamed to shout out loud, be proud! '
At the end of the journey, it really doesn't matter how many dreams you realized but how many you made and how many memories you've accumulated every step of the way. Dream as if you live forever. Live as if you die today. I want to make my 29th year a special one, afterall it's the last of my 20s. I want each day to count, each moment to cherish and I don't want to wake up on my 30th birthday regretting that I did not do what I wanted to do in my 20s....So, here I am with a couple more days to spare before I turn 29, writing my 11, yes not 10 but 11 personal goals for the coming year. I may get lucky or not, but at least I have 11 dreams, 1 more than the usual which makes my hit percentage a little bit higher...And who knows, this could be my lucky year! I'll try to be a good girl so I can have something to bargain with the Lord, my very generous and patient Father in exchange of goal #11! Hahahaha!!!! ^o^

Week of June 12, 2005
The week starts with a somewhat intense beginning as the Sun in your sign opposes Pluto. There is the possibility of change and transformation within your current relationship or on any issues that may have been unacknowledged, bubbling away beneath the surface. Try to aim for healing and honesty rather than projecting blame. There is a lot of activity in the personal financial sector of your chart as Mercury, Venus and Saturn transit this area. Perhaps this week you have a few decisions to make. Mercury squares Jupiter on Wednesday so you may find it more difficult to see the big picture; too many details threaten to swamp you. Perhaps you need to talk to someone who can give you more of an overview. Thursday is one time when you may want to take a risk or be more experimental with your money. Mercury trines Uranus, bringing you a touch of financial inspiration. You may see a way around a problem that you just didn't notice previously. Uranus turns retrograde in Pisces, which is going to bring you a chance to rethink your career strategy. So far you have wanted change, change and more change. This may slow you down, giving you more time to think.

A social evening could mean that one meeting proves to be an eye-opener in more ways than you can imagine. The current aspect breaks down a barrier that has existed between you and someone else with whom you secretly feel a powerful connection. Perhaps because of this you have been hesitant to speak to them; but an accident of fate means you have no choice. Thank goodness.
Thanks for visiting!
