Is He talking to me?
I am beginning to find this interesting. When I accessed the Our Daily Bread today, July 19 Mysterious Ways show up. This has showed up for like 4-5 times already. Is there a bug in their system? I can't say it's bookmarked because when I refreshed a different topic comes up, and guess what it is "In nature we hear the voice of God." Are you trying to tell me something here Lord? Is this a sign? I don't understand. Well, I usually don't understand. But since I made the commitment to believe in what You plan for me, I did tell You to take charge of my personal life cause I admit I just really suck at it alone.
Ok, dailies talk...let me see, I got back from Palo Alto last Sunday night and a Korean was inviting me to a gospel concert. She was so persistent so I gave her my number and told her I'd attend the following week (yep, she's inviting me and my suitcase!).
As usual, I had tons of local work. For a while I really felt so distracted during the weekend. It's really difficult to work with another timezone adjustment and the catch-ups, I just can't deal with them coz it feels like I am starting over again. Yeah, I guess that's how it feels this year, starting over and over again. On the bright side, at least I have the word 'start' and that would be fine.
I've decided that I will be fully in charge of the situation and it is up to me to help myself. I have tremendous influence over my boss which means I have the power, just need to put it to proper use.
Coincidence would have it that I would be taking the same train as HB had last Friday. Twas our first chat after I arrived. We were at the office today and he pointed to me the summer fireworks seen from the office windows. He looks so excited to see those all the time, it's funny. Times like these, I'd wonder why we can still put smiles on each other's faces after all what we have gone through. I guess this is some sort of a miracle already.
Tonight, I shall endulge myself into a luxurious bath, and watch more movies and then continue my work. I should beat my project plan and take that well-deserved New Zealand vacation! By the time I'm back, that'll be October and Emman and Doc Lito and hopefully Norla would be visiting me here so I have to play the good hostess. I'm excited to see them!
Oh but before that, tomorrow I should mail my credit card application and start planning Tera's bachelor party! And not to forget my date with Yukiko next Friday, Aug 26!
