My Hallie Parker/Annie James Girl Has Grown Up!
My friends and I had lunch at McDo. There's a promo about Destiny's Child upcoming concert series. I told my friends that I saw in the news that world premiere of a new Pepsi commerial featuring JLo, Beyonce and Beckham. It was so cool. Comparing to the previous featuring Beyonce, Pink and Britney, the commercials are so provocative in a sense that it magnifies the strengths of a modern day woman. In the first commercial, I commented out though that Beyonce was so 'outstanding' among the 3. Everybody agreed, and as one friend puts it 'what is good with Britney in the first place?' (no offense to Ms. Spears).
Then we talked about new artists and the recent comparison between Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. I must confess that living here in Tokyo for almost a year already, I've really been so out of the Hollywood entertainment INs and OUTs. But of course I know Hilary Duff, I listen to her songs lately. But Lindsay Lohan...I must have heard that name before. My friend said, she starred in Confessions Of A Drama Queen. Still that doesn't ring a bell. Then he said 'and Parent Trap'. "Oh, Annie James!!!! and Hallie Parker!!!
I was so astounded, is time really this fast? This cutie naughty little girl who desperately wanted to get her parents back together and declared war against 'Cruella Deville' has grown up to be a beautiful young woman. I have no words!
Life is really short and time is even faster!
