Young Girls At The Piano

I never have imagined that puzzle portrait will have a long way.

This was the last jigsaw puzzle that has witnessed my depressions when I broke up with my boyfriend a long long time ago. I did finish this but I put this in a box and hid it somewhere in my old apartment in Fujisawa. Went back to the Phils to nurse a wounded heart, and then I finally decided not to go back again. After a while, Blesh asked me about the puzzle coz I think it would be either for bizarre or would go straight in the trash. Somehow the puzzle went back to me but I never did have the desire to put it together. Until early this year, when I was packing my stuffs to permanently settle back to Japan, I noticed this puzzle and I decided, what the heck, I'd bring it back with me.

Just last weekend, I thought of putting it together and framing it. I lost the paper that says its frame size and so I layed it section by section, and tried to estimate the size (with the use of the tape measure of course!).

I took my chance and purchased a frame and guess what, after 6 years of hiding in the dark, my Young Girls At The Piano jigsaw puzzle finally found its rightful place.

Who would have thought that this puzzle will find its way back to me. Moreover, who would have thought that I would still have the complete pieces after having traveled from Fujisawa-Alabang-Pasig-Mandaluyong-Tokyo?? And how lucky am I to actually find the perfect frame that would fit this puzzle. ...and oh, did I say that this puzzle actually took 6 years to put together?

If there is such thing as a miracle, then I believe this is one.
